UNWASTE

Starting with an asignment to create an atlas of Europe, I decided to focus on the waste management and processing in the European countries. The main goal of my work was to collect once unreadable statistical data and to envision them by forming a clear message. The form of a book and the way it is designed highly relate to the topic, starting with the recycled ecological papers to the minimalistic black and white patterns, transisting statistical data with density.

Personally, I believe more in asking questions than in giving answers. My work is a question as well, and the answer is not up to me. By asking: Why do we waste so much? What happens with our waste? Are we aware of what is happening with our garbage? What I really want to ask is whether the process in which the consumption defines our being is irreversible.
